String and Eat Necklaces

Ingredients

  • 4 pieces (about 36 inches each) red shoestring licorice
  • 1/3 cup Cheerios™ cereal
  • 1 roll (1.5 oz) brightly colored, ring-shaped gummy candy
  • 1 package (1 1/4 oz) pastel-colored tube-shaped licorice candies
  • 1/2 cup colored miniature marshmallows
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar

Instructions

  • Step 
    1
    Onto each piece of shoestring licorice, string an arrangement of cereal, candies and marshmallows (to prevent stickiness, dip 1 end of licorice into powdered sugar before poking licorice through each marshmallow).

    When each licorice is 3/4 full, tie ends of licorice together into a double knot to make a necklace.
